Photography by John Hiserman
Below is a random selection of photos that I've taken over the years... If I remember to bring the camera, I'll take hundreds of shots of whatever, and sometimes I'll get a winner! I consider myself more of a hobbyist rather than a professional. Most of the photography I take are the websites I put together or at our Solar Guild event here in town.

'Light-check' Walk - April 4th, 2011
We decided to walk around the neighborhood and get the light pole numbers of street lights that were out, doing our part to keep the neighborhood lit. For some reason I brought the camera... most of them are blurry, of course, ..you really should use a tripod at night. The shot of the tower building is actually a stitch of three shots and had to pump up the lighting using Picasa just to make it viewable... I really like that dark-blue sky my old Kodak picks up so well... John.
9th Street Walkabout - April 3rd, 2011
We decided to head down into the '4th Ave Street-fair-Nest' area and walk around the old neighborhood - just had to grab the camera...
Moon Night - March 19th, 2011
The Moon was the largest it's been in a decade, they say,... so we decided to head up to A Mountain and take some pics... each of these pics are stitched from three (the house) or more (up to 20+) pictures, using a tripod and keeping the camera lens open for 1-3 seconds/shot to collect more light. City shots taken from A-Mountain, and the house is the one right across from El Minuto Restaurant downtown Tucson.
